we were there for our pearl 30th wedding anniversary with friends. we were made to feel really special and were given a glass of champagne each! the meal was fabulous. we would highly recommend park bistro. i am gluten free and my menu was great!
At times I find the service from the manager (the lady with the glasses) very unsatifactory. Her mannerism is very unpleasing. I live along that bit of the canal and used to be a regular at the bistro and stopped going for a few months due to the poor service. I tried the place again today with my family and I wasn't surprised - same level of low level service from this particular member of staff. The rest of the staff are really nice. One star from me!
Been in here several times. Beautiful surroundings right next to the canal. Great service and food. Good menu and choice for all. Always busy so do try and book first. Prices are very reasonable and the standard is higher than most, especially some places which tend to charge more.
The place is good for people with kids as you can have your food in peace while they play safely however the food could be better. I ordered a baked potato with beans and really? One table spoon of beans? No way!!! Are you having a laugh. Beans are cheap. Just fill my plate with it!!! I hope it improves. The staff are nice.
