Ken Scott KirkcaldyHaving been a cyclist all my life and having heard so many good things about electric bikes that at the ripe old age of 72 I decided to go along and see what all the fuss was about. Firstly Gordon was one of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met. His workshop was spotless and tidy. Always a good sign. Although I had a few ideas in my head he explained the differences in the cycles patiently and thoroughly to me. I eventually decided on a Raleigh Motus which he immediately readied for me and I went out on a test drive. It was love at first sight. Gordon ordered the correct size of frame for my height ,the deralia gears that i wanted and extras for me. Even so it only took 4 days to be ready. And how I love it. I have had it now for 3 months and done 667 miles. How I wish I had gone down this road years ago. Despite having arthritis especially in my hands I have refound my love of cycling. Thanks to Gordon everything about the bike is perfect for me. Thank you Gordon.Ken ScottKirkcaldy

We bought two Raleigh Motus bikes at the end of 2016. I have covered 2000 miles on my cross bar version. After 50 years of cycling including some of les grands cols in the Pyrenees I am totally thrilled by this bike. Gordon gave us the chance of test run and explained fully the technical aspects of the bike. His approach his honest and thoroughly professional. My bike has been serviced twice and it goes like a Rolls Royce. Not only are the bikes he is selling top class but the aftersales has been exemplary. I would recommend Easygoing Bikes to anyone interested in buying a pedelec. In fact, the Scottish Government should put Gordon in charge of alternative modes of transport to improve the environment in our towns and the health of the population!

I purchased a raleigh motus grand tour 3weeks ago and after using it over that time I can only say thanks to Gordon at easy go bikes for his great customer service and e bike knowledge. The set up at Linlithgow is first class and Gordon was more than happy to set up different bikes for me to try. Anyone thinking about purchasing a e bike should pay easy Go Bikes a visit. I am sure they wont be disappointed.

Went for a look at Electric bikes, some here are the best I seen & at a great price, Staff were friendly & helpful. great help from start to finish.

In 2017, at 51 years old, I bought the Raleigh Motus with hub gears from Easygo Electric Bikes in Linlithgow. Gordon encouraged me to try several options available, and he is an engineer to trade and knows his stuff, so felt in safe hands from the start. This bike has got me back to the cycling activity that I did in my 20s. I have had it several months now and it has just been in today for its 1000 mile service by Gordon. The extra paid for the hub gears is well worth it. Much cleaner drive train and it seems very unlikely that the chain will drop off at any point. I am 6'2" and the 46cm frame works well, with the seat up at its highest allowed position. The whole set-up feels very comfortable and I regularly do between 20 and 30 miles at a time, and return home very content and without the sweat! The 'range' function, while useful, seems to give very conservative figures about what is left in the battery, and I find it more useful to keep an eye on the battery level rather than the range figures. This is my second e bike, and I tested several others at Easygo Bikes before buying the Motus low step with hub gears. I am very pleased and enjoy the opportunities it gives me to get out and it also lends itself well to my passion for photography, so I have many pictures taken during my rides. One issue has been the built-in lights. The rear light stopped working and needed some wiggling of wires! Eventually, the wires came loose, and have been very difficult to fix. I have now replaced the rear light with a rechargeable light that offers 'blinking' which I prefer and think is a safer option, so I will stick with that and not worry about the fact that the wiring to the rear light seems quite vulnerable. At the service today, Gordon made good the wires so that there would not be a 'short' any time soon!In summary, I do love this bike and would recommend it to anybody wanting some inspiration and reason to get out and about. I would also recommend going to a dealer that knows his stuff, and Gordon at Easygo Bikes, Linlithgow, knows his stuff. During the service today, Gordon stripped down parts to ensure they were properly lubricated and functioning. Also got a new chain and brake pads, and he clearly showed the quality of the new parts and offered advice on ongoing maintenance. If anyone wants to look into the option of having an electric bike, or needs experienced and professional opinion, then take a trip to Linlithgow and speak to Gordon. I will be a regular customer.
